PDF conversion question by Pat
I recently had to replace my computer and printer. My new computer hasWindows 7 which I am slowly getting used to. I installed my old Office 2003
program on the compuer. At some time in the past I was able to change my
printer settings to allow pdf conversion and printing of Word documents.
Unfortunately I do not remember how I did this or where I got the
instructions. I need to do the same on my new system. As far as I can tell
Windows 7 didn't come with Adobe Acrobat and I think I have to have it in
order to convert to pdf. Is it still a free download? Can someone tell me
how to enable my printer to convert to pdf? Thank you so much for any input.
Adobe Acrobat is not a free download. The free download is Adobe
Reader, which does not create pdfs.
There are many free pdf creators available now, such as PrimoPdf,
CutePdf, PDf995.
When you've downloaded one of them, it shows up in your Print dialog
(Ctril-P) as a "printer" choice.
