- accidentally emptied deleted items folder in microsoft outlook
-
Does anyone know a way to recover messages after accidentally emptying the
deleted items folder in Microsoft Outlook? No I don't have a Microsoft
exchange account, but I did backup prior to this on another drive. Problem
is I have no idea how to pull out what I want from a single .pst file ??? I
just want part of this, I don't want to restore the entire pst file. Damn it
this should be easy, there should be an undo function for a period of time or
I should be able to locate them in recycle bin or something.
note I am running vista with office 2007

- messages to mailbox's sent items.
-
Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum. My question is how to make the messages send from
user's different mailbox e.g Projects (apart from inbox)go to mailbox's sent
items not user's actual sent items. Is this possible? if yes how?
Thank You.

- Outlook 2007 Not Responding in Vista
-
When I load Outlook on my laptop, it usiually takes 3 tries before it will
work. It loads, then does a send receive, then normally stalls at about 60%
in the status bar. Then It goes gray and I get not responding. I use Outlook
connector and an msn.com email address.
Does anyone know a fix for this? Outlook 2007 works fine on my PC with
Windows 7.
Thanks for any help.

- Configuring Exchange Account
-
Hello everyone,
I have the details of an exchange server that is used to sync
email/contacts/calendars to handhelds using activesync,
and I want to know if I can use the same details to access the server using
Outlook 2007, if so, how?
I tried using the regular method of creating new account and inserting the
details, but for some reason(s) I couldn't make it to work.
The Server details are:
Exchange server: mail.nana10.co.il
It says to use an SSL connection.
Domain: nanamail
and of course it says to enter username and password.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

- Can Receive but not send
-
OS: Vista 64-bit; Office Pro 2003; Outlook is main e-mail client. Vista is
set-up into 2 users. Until 5 days ago my outlook had been functioning fine,
could send and receive with no problem. I can still receive but not send -
outgoing stays in outbox. I have double and triple checked all account
settings, they are the same for myself and second user. I have checked with
my ISP, I am not being blocked on sending mail by them. I am also running
Norton 360 as my firewall and screening e-mail for viruses on incomming and
outgoing. I have put all setting on Norton back to default. I have also
tried deleting the outgoing message, recreating and resending using alternate
addresses; creating a new Outlook Data file; and deleting all of the e-mail
accounts and re-entering them. Results are still the same, can receive but
not send. Second user can send and receive e-mail using outlook with no
problems. Any suggestions on how to fix this, it's driving an old man
crazy!!!!!!

- Sent Mail folder
-
I am using Gmail and really wish that I could make my Entourage sent mail
not be saved to my IMAP folder but to my local folder, and once done make it
a snap to access. In Account Settings--account--advanced I am able to do
this BUT its a pain in the tail to see my sent mail folder and I always need
to click on the folders on my computer and click on the sent mail folder.
This is a pain because in Outlook 2003 for Windows I can create a favorite
and make it easier to view my sent mail folder stored on my local PC. In
other words in Outlook I have a hierarchy and both my inbox and sent mail
folders are right next to each other. When I wish to view messages that I
have sent, I click on the folder and a second later see the messages. With
Entourage 2004 things are slower and more complex.
Anyway to do something similar on the Mac? Perhaps the Outlook people know
of a way, I am not sure.

- Outlook 2007 will not open or save attachments
-
Hello,
I upgraded Vista Ultimate to Win 7 Ultimate. Now MS Outlook will not
allow me to open or save attachments.
If I try to open I get "The operation failed. An object could not be found"
If I try to save I get " Cannot save the attachment"
I have confirmed that all file type previewers are installed.
The attachments are not infected and are not the types that might be
normally blocked by Outlook. They are word, excel, pdf, etc.
I don't think my anti-virus (Symantec End Point) is doing it because I
have prevented it from starting and the problem still exists.
I can open the attachments by doing the following: I open the email and
click the FORWARD button. A copy of the email c/w attachments appears
and I can now open or save the attachments.

- right click anywhere in message body shows signature option
-
right click anywhere in message body shows signature option instead of edit
option.
I am not sure how to explain this but I will try in hope someone will be
able to help.
Open a new email to write. You know how in the body of an email message
there are a few lines empty and then there is the signature. Sometimes I am
typing an email and I need to right click on the text to do something and I
get the signature right click option. Basically Outlook thinks that the email
message that I have typed is all in the signature section of the page. I try
to scroll up to even the very first line but OL still considers the whole
message body to be a signature.
This does not happen always but sometimes and I am not sure what steps I
take to produce that. It is certainly not happening when I start a new
message, type it and send it. It happens when I do a lot of editing and
saving of the message and re-editing.
I hope this makes sense and someone can help.
Let me know if I need to clarify what I said any more.
Thanks

blank? I have one from yesterday that is just fine, but the other 11for

- Runtime Error
-
In a previous post, more details about the Runtime Error Alert that I receive
was requested for further diagnosing of the problem I am experiencing with
Outlook 2003. I have since received the error again...
The problem that I have is that, whenever Outlook performs "heavy tasks,"
such as receiving or sending large or ample messages or processing rules, it
abruptly shuts down. This originally was occurring on just one computer, but
is now occurring on both of them. I originally was receiving the Runtime
Error Alerts when this abrupt shut down occurred, then they went away. But
now, they have come back.
I am using XP Professional on both machines; one has SP2, the other has SP3.
This issue is with Microsoft Office 2003.
I would like any help that would allow me to avoid having to reinstall
Outlook or Microsoft Office. Because it was one one machine, then begin to
happen on another also, I am suspecting a Windows or Microsoft Office Update
(?).
